Aled Richards-Jones is a Patent Litigation Partner at Mewburn Ellis. He advises clients on complex pharmaceutical and biotechnology patent disputes, SPCs and regulatory exclusivities, and has extensive experience of coordinating multi-jurisdictional litigation across Europe. He has acted in several high-profile cases before the UK courts and is active in representing clients at the UPC. He was part of the litigation team which litigated the first series of SPC manufacturing waiver cases across several EU member courts, and draws on this experience to advise clients on the evolving law in this area. Aled is qualified as a barrister in England & Wales and Ireland, and is a UPC Representative.
